Letters to the Sea (6/6) - Knockin' on Heaven's Door

A six-part subjective photography to showcase the abstraction of reality through the subconsciousness and imagination of a young female writer, evoked by the poetics of the sea. The sixth part, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, portrays her serendipitous encounter with Heaven. Rather than fighting through Hell, she just bumped into Heaven by chance. Again, she is still in the room she occupies but the colour palatte, lightings and ambiance has changed. In addition to question the the physicality of hell and heaven, the lack of struggle and fighting to be 'worthy' of Heaven, this part stress on the luck and chance element of everything in life; challenging the concept of 'worthiness'. Instead, advocating the idea of an inherent inequality or luck in life.
