The Last Night

The recent political turmoil at America has created a dystopian sensation in the psyche of the collective consciousness; the feeling of hopelessness and despair for our own future and the future of the next generation is prominent, materialised already in the increase in gun crime and robbery all around the world.

In this collection of photos, I want to portray this sentiment in the style of a surreal, sci-fi, alien-like doomsday: what would it look like if we are indeed at the end of this human civilisation? I want to capture a quiet aftermath, and the eerie stillness of the day, rather than focusing on direct violence or movement to show impermanence and fragility of reality, where at any moment, peace could be torn to pieces by violence and catastrophe.
